Program Information We help patients with injuries, disabilities, or other health conditions that limit their ability to move and function in their daily lives. We work with patients of all ages. Their duties include: \r\nDiagnosing patients: Reviewing patients' medical history, referrals, and notes from other healthcare workers. They also observe patients' movements and listen to their concerns. \r\nDesigning individualized care plans: Outlining patients' goals and the expected outcomes of their plans. \r\nImplementing treatment plans: Using a combination of exercise, stretches, hands-on techniques, equipment, massage, hot packs, ice, and electrical stimulation to help patients ease pain, increase mobility, and prevent further injury. \r\nEvaluating patient progress.\r\nDeveloping and implementing discharge plans: Helping patients get back to day-to-day activities.
