Job Summary:
Investquire, a business brokerage firm in Orange County, CA offering management consulting, business, and technology services, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Intern for a six-month internship. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media content creation, public relations, and podcast research and production within a fast-paced business environment. The intern will work closely with the cofounder, Barry Bestpitch, and contribute to various marketing and communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Marketing:
o Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns to promote Investquire’s services and enhance brand awareness.
o Monitor digital marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, SEO rankings, and email campaign effectiveness.
o Collaborate with the team to optimize marketing strategies and explore new digital channels to reach target audiences.
2. Social Media Content Creation:
o Develop and curate engaging content for Investquire’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
o Manage social media posting schedules, monitor engagement, and adjust content strategies to maximize reach and follower interaction.
o Stay informed about social media trends and best practices to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
3. Public Relations (PR):
o Support the creation, editing, and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to promote Investquire’s brand and services.
o Research and identify media outlets, bloggers, and influencers for potential partnerships and media coverage opportunities.
o Maintain and update media contact lists and assist in coordinating PR outreach efforts.
4. Podcast Research and Production:
o Conduct research on industry trends, guest speakers, and topics relevant to Investquire’s syndicated “The Biz Show” podcast series.
o Assist in various aspects of podcast production, including scripting, recording, editing, and promoting episodes.
o Work on strategies to grow podcast listenership and enhance engagement with the target audience.
Work Environment:
• Work primarily in a standard office environment with no travel required, unless mutually agreed upon.
• Engage in a collaborative team setting with opportunities to learn about various aspects of business brokerage and consulting services.
• Gain exposure to industry practices in a supportive and professional environment.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong writing and communication skills; creativity in content creation; familiarity with digital marketing, social media, and PR tools.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer), and basic audio/video editing software.
• Experience: Prior internship experience or coursework related to marketing, PR, or communications is advantageous but not required.

Business Development and Sales:
-Research potential clients and target markets

-Conduct due diligence on potential clients or business opportunities
