This is a temporary, academic-specific role that is performed by an existing Race Communications non-exempt (“hourly”) employee in conjunction with their regularly assigned duties and job description. This work will be compensated at the same regular rate of pay the employee receives for their regularly assigned position. The Management and HR Internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources and organizational management. Participating in Race Communications' Management and Human Resources internship provides hands-on experience in key areas of business and HR operations. Here are common learning expectations for interns at Race Communications: 1. Understanding of HR Policies and Procedures Learn how companies develop, implement, and enforce HR policies. Gain insight into employee handbooks, compliance with labor laws, and ethical considerations. 2. Recruitment and Selection Process Participate in talent acquisition activities, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews. Understand the selection criteria and best practices for hiring. 3. Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution Observe and assist in managing employee relations issues.
