Behavior Technicians provide direct instruction to children. Interventions are evidence-based and focus on natural teaching strategies such as Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and other ABA teaching techniques.
Behavior Technician will implement client goals, collect data, record a daily session. note and meet fidelity of implementation of PRT.
Training:
Training consists of 40+ hour focused on teaching the behavior technician how to implement PRT in client sessions to target skill acquisition. This training also includes shadowing. After training the staff will receive in field supervision and attend a weekly support group.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Accurately collect data on client goals.
2. Implement client programs as outlined by case supervisors.
3. Meet fidelity of implementation of PRT.
