Dream Center InternAt — Dream Center Lake Elsinore
This opportunity will be a blend of office/admin support and hands-on outreach in the community... Qualified candidates will work directly with our founders and core leadership team in a support role to help with on-going administrative tasks, set-up and execution of weekly outreach efforts, distribution of food at our local pantry, and more.
Previous interns have reported that they came away from the experience with invaluable understanding of poverty and the many social challenges that accompany it. Interns working with the Dream Center will learn how to effectively galvanize a community around a common mission to transform an entire community through a long-term commitment to finding and filling needs. This experience will allow an intern to gain first-hand exposure to not only the 'out-front' workings of a successful non-profit but also to the immense amount of work that goes on behind the scenes. It would be fair to consider this internship a complete immersive experience into all that it takes to operate a charitable community non-profit.
In addition to our new volunteer orientation and quarterly team training luncheons, our interns will receive first-hand training and oversight from our core leadership team for any task they are asked to take on.
