Organization Description

The Benicia Public Library provides educational resources, entertainment, and a gathering place for the residents of Benicia.

Health & Safety

With an intern, I would be supervising eight people altogether: five part-time (though one is seasonal, only here in summer), two full-time, and the intern. Given that one is seasonal, I'm reaching (but not crossing) that eight-person limit only on a technicality. Still, I thought I should mention it.

Because the Benicia Public Library is a public space, photography and video are allowed in public spaces.

  • Computer Literacy
  • Must be 18 or older
  • SUPERVISION: Students' supervisor be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.

We are open 10-9 Monday - Thursday and from 12-6 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That said, Fridays and Saturdays will not be available as internship hours.
