Opportunity Summary 

    • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on addiction recovery, mental health topics, or dual diagnosis, addressing the unique needs of the client population.

    • Implement and integrate evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, during group sessions.

    • Provide psychoeducation on substance abuse, mental health conditions, and the interaction between co-occurring disorders, helping clients understand their conditions and develop effective coping strategies.

    • Offer emotional support and encourage clients to share their experiences and challenges in a safe, non-judgmental space, fostering a supportive and inclusive group dynamic.

    • Monitor and assess group dynamics and individual client progress, making adjustments to the group process as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

    • Record session notes.

    • Teach clients relapse prevention strategies, focusing on building strong support systems, managing triggers, and recognizing warning signs to maintain sobriety and mental health stability.

    • Ensure strict confidentiality in line with legal and ethical standards, maintaining the privacy of all client information.

    • Create and maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive group environment that encourages participation, mutual respect, and personal growth.
