League of Women Voters of Greater Los Angeles

Organization Description

Mission: Empower Voters. Defend Democracy. Vision: We envision a democracy where every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge, and the confidence to participate. Nonpartisanship: The League shall not support or oppose any political party or any candidate.

Program Information

All students, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation, are open and welcome to participate.

Health & Safety

Most of our work is done remotely from home. The times when we do have tabling opportunities in the community to do voter registration and education, an LWV member will be there to supervise. Tabling events rarely get more than 4 volunteers at a time.
