ASAM 230 Service Learning: AHRIAt — AHRI
Ah-Ri exists to challenge the broken system and create new pathways for our community so that no one lives in fear of deportation, and everyone has access to education, healthcare, affordable housing, and a healthy work environment. The core founding staff of Ahri are seasoned community organizers, activists, and advocates who are trusted by community members

Students will have opportunities to participate in:
1) Provide workshops and information about identity, community organizing, and housing.
2) Share space for discussion and reflection on above topics.
3) Peer-to-peer learning.
4) Connect service learners to Ah-Ri as an organization.
Including the above provided, students enrolled in ASAM 230 will work with Ahri Center on a voting project. Students will learn about the use of social media to mobilize the community to vote.
