Front-End Software Engineer Intern
Relli, Inc. (\\RELLI\\) is an up-and-coming FinTech startup that is working to create a marketplace where Retail Investors (US Citizens over 18) can participate in lucrative Commercial Real Estate Investments. This will Allow Average Joes to diversify their portfolio into Real Estate with as little as $100!
We are looking for driven, entrepreneurial CSUF students interested in learning what it takes to build a Business Startup from the ground up! Work with our team to learn how to bring your ideas to life in a scalable and profitable way. We are looking for qualified Computer Science students with a passion for Front End Web Development.
Working with RELLI as a Software Development Intern is more than just padding for your resume. Our team will see their work come to life in our product launch in the coming months, when we plan to help thousands of investors participate in Real Estate for the first time!
Full or Part-Time Employment may be offered at the end of the internship.
Position: Front-End Software Engineer Intern
Status: Unpaid
Location: Virtual Office
Reporting Structure:
The intern will report directly to RELLI’s President & Chief Technology Officer.
Qualifications:
- A showcase of your past projects
- Comfortable working in a Virtual First environment.
- A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind, and web standards.
- A strong understanding of Javascript, React.js, and Next.js.
- Solid experience using and working with RESTful API backends.
- Keen attention to detail with a strong passion for creating aesthetically pleasing UI/UX designs.
- Basic knowledge and interest in financial markets/digital assets trading
Responsibilities:
- This position will focus on assisting with various aspects of development, from maintaining responsive web interfaces, organizing modular code, and creative problem-solving
- Assist in adding new features and functionality to enhance the user experience.
- Perform code cleanups to ensure readability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues to ensure smooth functionality across different browsers and devices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the codebase.
- Work with APIs to fetch and display data on the front end.
- Test and optimize web pages for performance, speed, and accessibility.
Expectations:
- Minimum of 10 hours of work per week
- Attend required meetings
- Take direction from Abdul Zahid and Ross Iannarelli in alignment with the goals of RELLI.
