Health & Safety

Higher Ground Youth & Family Services serves underserved youth, and communities in Orange County, providing support for socio-economic challenges, educational development, human trafficking prevention, mental health services and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Security at the Site: Interns will work at a secure location within Lincoln Park, Anaheim, equipped with surveillance cameras and a front desk check-in at the Welcome Center. Staff are present during operating hours to ensure safety. History of Criminal Activity: The area has experienced typical urban activity, but there have been no significant reports of criminal incidents at the site. Higher Ground works closely with local law enforcement to maintain security. Parking Facility Security: Parking is available on-site, including both a parking lot and street parking. While these areas are not actively patrolled, the public park is busy, and the front-side parking lot is monitored during operating hours. Additional Safety Information: Higher Ground conducts regular safety drills and follows strict safety protocols. Staff are trained in emergency procedures, and the site has a first-aid station for any necessary medical support.
