ORA Systems

Organization Description

Established in 2012, ORA Systems, Inc. is a California-based corporation pioneering government innovation. ORA has spearheaded the development and implementation of the California Innovation Playbook for Government Change Agents (Cal-IPGCA), a transformative program fostering collaboration and driving impactful change within state government. Initially launched as the "Navigating Leadership Program," Cal-IPGCA evolved under ORA's guidance, culminating in a 2016 partnership with the State of California. This collaboration led to the adoption of a "state facsimile" of the "Bloomberg Playbook" model, creating innovation hubs focused on addressing real-time priorities. This unique program features a collaborative learning environment where state leaders mentor diverse trainees through six-month cohorts, fostering the development of "moonshot" projects that tackle pressing challenges. By transcending traditional hierarchies, Cal-IPGCA has empowered thousands of participants as Executive Leadership Forum members, Cohort Trainees, and Proof of Concept Beta Testers, collectively catalyzing innovation and positive change across California's government landscape.
