Title: Tech Intern

Tasks:

Planning: Help brainstorm for projects, work on graphic design skills, social media strategies and researching how technology can enhance film projects.

Team Support: Assist the tech team in creating a collaborative environment, especially for film and design projects.

Project Help: Keep track of timelines, for any ongoing projects. Assist the team with open items, and assist with any tasks that may be given.

Learning: Participate in training sessions to learn about are editing tools, graphic design techniques, and social media strategies.

Relationship Building: Focus on maintaining and strengthening professional relationship with colleagues and collaborators, fostering a positive work environment.

Feedback and Reflection: Regularly seek feedback on your performance and reflect on your learning experiences to improve your skills and ask questions when you may now know what to do or if you want to learn more about a curtain topic.

Audio-Visual Management: Help to oversee the operation and maintenance of sound, lighting, and video equipment during events. Ensuring high-quality audio and visual experiences, including live streaming capabilities.

Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing special events, ensuring all technical needs are met.

Overall, we will ensure the student is actively involved in daily operations while receiving training on industry standards. They will have the opportunity to handle client relationships and expand their knowledge of film, graphic design, software, and technology.

Training:

Training - Tech Director

Initial Orientation

Conduct an orientation session covering work practices, emergency procedures, and an overview of technology and equipment.
Introduce the student to the team
Give a tour of the building and ensure they receive key fobs and access to building.

Hands-On Training:
Provide hands-on training sessions on audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, lighting, and video production tools.
Provide training for graphics design, and social media marketing.
Provide training for livestream production.

Weekly Progress Meetings

Hold regular weekly meetings to review the student’s progress, discuss challenges, and provide mentorship.
Encourage the student to share insights, concerns, and questions to ensure clarity and transparency.
Discuss the tasks and responsibilities for the week or day.

Project-Based Learning

The student will assist with specific events or projects, allowing them to apply their skills in real-world scenarios.
Provide them with the opportunity to apply their skills during our events, allowing them to utilize their camera, filming, photography, technical, and production skills effectively.

Mentorship and Shadowing:
Pairing the student with an experienced team member for mentorship and shadowing opportunities during events, and working with us on a daily basis to assist with weekly activities and projects.
Provide constructive feedback after assessments, focusing on strengths and areas for development.

Skill Assessment and Feedback

Implement periodic assessments to evaluate technical skills and understanding of project management principles.
