Develop consistent branding and marketing message, create marketing assets for social media and digital marketing, measure metrics and adjust to grow a small business.
Some of the objectives to support the goal are:
- Develop an annual marketing plan by month.
- Track metrics and measure the growth monthly. Reallocate resources based on the monthly results.
- Develop consistent branding around message
- Research ever changing social platforms and content.
- Create marketing collateral for campaigns using still photography, videos, create B roll. This would include, lifestyle videos, informational videos, and branding videos.
- Repurpose and create marketing for different marketing medias
Tasks:
1. Create an annual marketing plan (high level) and (detail)
2. Measure the effectiveness of marketing monthly and reassess resources as needed.
3. Develop a constant branding message around the value proposition and mission statement.
4. Digital & Social Marketing: Create a strategy to help company achieve it's growth goals through online marketing channels. This would require researching the marketing channels, potential benefits, developing and implementing campaigns and measuring the effectiveness at completion. Main focus on Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn
5. Create Marketing Collateral for campaigns using still photography, videos, create B roll. This would include lifestyle videos, informational videos, and branding videos.
6. Create multiple versions of the same marketing to be used optimally in different marketing channels.
7. Research competitors digital & social marketing, identify what could work in our market and test and document the outcomes.
Training
Initial orientation to provide an overview of the goals and learning outcomes, weekly scheduled one-on one mentor meetings via zoom or in person to discuss weekly goals, next steps and how the research and steps help contribute to our goals. Job shadowing of creating social strategies, developing an annual plan measurement of effectiveness. I will provide feedback every step of the way to ensure success for the both the intern and myself, the educator.
All mentorship will be done either in person at the Newport Beach Public Library or via zoom sessions to review work, provide feedback.
Learning Outcome:
1. Develop an annual marketing plan, test strategies, measure effectiveness and update the plan based on results.
2. Create Marketing Collateral to for Social Media and Digital Strategies that is consistent with branding
3. Learn how to repurpose a marketing campaign for different media/marketing strategies.
4. Learn to create a brand that is consistent around a company's values and message.
5. Will become competent in Premier Pro, Canva, Capcut, storytelling and analyzing data to make informed decisions.
