Sierra County Public Health (Oral Health Program)

Organization Description

The Sierra County Oral Health Program improves community oral health through school-based educational outreach, dental health screenings, and school-linked programming. With limited local data and resources, the program fosters strong partnerships to address rural challenges, aligning efforts with the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). Through targeted school activities, the program raises oral health awareness and encourages preventive practices, aiming for a lasting impact on Sierra County’s overall health.
