Organization Description

California State University, Long Beach, known nationally as "The Beach," is a hub of diversity, both culturally and intellectually. Program Information

Think Beach is a new inclusive, postsecondary education (IPSE) program at CSULB seeking to support a self-determined and fully-inclusive life for college-age people with intellectual and developmental disabilities that will lead to competitive, integrated employment. Peer Mentor Interns will provide guidance to help Think Beach scholars navigate University life by forming friendly relationships with them and helping them develop their goals and interests. Peer Mentors may support Think Beach scholars’ pursuit of their academic, social or employment goals and interest. Peer Mentors will commit to approximately 4 hours per week of in-person mentoring.
