Organization Description

To learn about and teach the history of Rockhaven Sanitarium, to advocate for preservation of and open access to the property, and to preserve and interpret the archives and artifacts.

Program Information

We are a small but enthusiastic nonprofit taking our responsibility to preserve and interpret the legacy of Rockhaven sanitarium very seriously. Since Rockhaven was run by women for women we focus on women's issues. Since it was a mental health facility we focus on wellness. And teaching about the context of the historical circumstances under which Rockhaven came about and operated, how it applies to today.
