Student Graphic Design AssistantAt — CSUF - College of Business and Economics

This internship will provide the student with real world experience working in a creative/marketing department. The student will receive guidance and art direction to create visually engaging marketing materials in both print and digital media. Depending on the strength and interest of the student, the internship will encourage the student to grow and expand as a visual communicator.

Learning Outcomes  

By the end of the internship, the student will have a good sense of what it takes to be a successful graphic designer. The student will gain the experience of how to come up with creative solutions that focuses on delivering results for clients. The student will become more confident in understanding and applying the fundamentals of graphic design. The student will have many opportunities to create portfolio-worthy works that he/she is proud of.

Training  

Weekly project review meetings will ensure student to achieve the success they desired from this internship. The supervisor will analyze the student's strength and interest, and give appropriate projects for the students that will be fun and challenging at the same time.

Tasks/Duties  

The intern will demonstrate the learning outcomes by the projects they do that will eventually make their way into the student's portfolio.
