Learning for Life Charter School
Learning for Life is an independent study charter school (non-profit organization) for 7-12th grade students who have not found success in traditional schools or need a more flexible arrangement. Student population ranges from 150-190 total students, 80% or more of our student population are designated as “high risk” students (expelled, homeless, foster, truant, credit deficient). Most of our students face significant personal and/or family issues.
Services include middle and high school education. There are 5 full time teachers, 4 half-time teachers, two part-time student advocates, School Counselor, School Psychologist, School and Community Liaison, Special Education Case Manager and School Director. Students are on campus for in person learning weekly Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.
