Organization Description

Carlsbad Educational Foundation is dedicated to enriching the educational experience for every student in the Carlsbad Unified School District. Through innovative programs, scholarships, and funding for STEM, arts, and music, the Foundation empowers students to reach their full potential. Carlsbad Educational Foundation also operates before and after-school child care for working families, providing a safe and enriching space for students outside school hours.

Health & Safety

We work with students in grades TK - 5 and volunteers will be working directly with students. Depending on the volunteer's experience and qualifications they may work unsupervised with students. We work with the general population of school-age children and some may have behavioral issues.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Pre-Placement Training
  • TB Test
