Marketing InternAt — Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos

Opportunity Summary 

As part of the Development Team, the Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, supporting efforts to promote the mission and impact of the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos. This project-based role will work closely with the Communications & Marketing Director and contribute to increasing awareness and engagement with the organization's programs, events, and initiatives. The internship will be approximately 10-15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule during normal business hours (M-F 8am-6pm). The internship will be completed by May 22, 2025.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will end the internship with a wide range of work to add to their portfolio with opportunities to create content for a variety external communications channels including print, website, social media, and email throughout the semester.

Opportunity Training 

Initial onboarding will include an orientation to cover the internship schedule and learning plan along with ongoing scheduled meetings and guidance from the Communications & Marketing Director.
