Opportunity Summary 

Train and supervise students on collecting data on human participants. Review and input data from students. Analyze data. Create a presentation based on data.

Research assistant position. Collecting or using already obtained data to learn about statistics, creating posters and manuscripts.  

  

Data entry, training for cognitive assessments over the phone, recruitment of new participants, literature reviews

Training:

The assistant will receive training on assessments, learn how to score data, may interact with participants in both group and individuals’ sessions. We meet monthly and sometimes weekly to assure that students are trained on data collection, using various instruments for ongoing studies, being able to critically evaluate existing literature. We have multiple faculty as well as undergraduate and graduate students in the lab.

Learning Outcomes:

Collaborate with students and faculty on projects. Develop statistical skills for preparing scientific posters and manuscripts. Design studies with data and variables already established.
