Police Department InternAt — Fontana Police Department
Interns at the Fontana Police Department are exposed to all facets of the law enforcement profession. This includes criminal investigation, enforcement of state and municipal laws, deployment of resources to combat criminal activity, and the processing of evidence. This will include being assigned to various units throughout the department including Detectives, Gangs, Air Support, K9's, Patrol, Dispatch, and Traffic.
It is our hope that interns will garner a greater interest in potentially joining the Law Enforcement profession, specifically here in the City of Fontana, where opportunity is abundant.
Training will be on an ongoing basis as they will shadow various professionals throughout the Police Department.
Student may be exposed to hazardous conditions but the intern's safety is always paramount.
Student has already been instructed on how to become an intern with the Fontana Police Department
