Leadership AmbassadorAt — CSUSM Student Leadership & Involvement Center
The Leadership Ambassador Program offers a volunteer opportunity for CSUSM students who are eager to develop their leadership skills while fostering stronger connections among their peers! Leadership Ambassadors will support the Student Leadership and Involvement Center by assisting in the hosting of leadership program events aimed at enhancing student leadership and promoting interpersonal, career, and professional development. This will involve leading leadership workshops, aiding in day-long retreats, contributing to a semester-long leadership program, and participating in team building and service-learning activities.
• For students enrolled in a service learning course - this program is an eligible service learning site to complete your hours at (subject to your professor’s approval)
• Knowledge of Student Leadership and Involvement Center opportunities and resources • Growth in personal leadership and professional career development

All Leadership Ambassadors are required to attend bi-weekly one-hour training sessions, which will incorporate self-evaluation, peer interaction, guest speakers, and discussions on leadership theory. Furthermore, this volunteer role will offer training and opportunities to practice facilitating leadership content, assessments, and activities.
