Art in the Park Community Cultural Programs

Organization Description

Art in the Park provides community-based arts and cultural programming for all ages. Housed in a historic building in a public park in northeast Los Angeles, We foster community engagement and arts accessibility, creating opportunities by providing classes, workshops, artist-in-residence, exhibitions, and performances conducted by both local and visiting artists. AITP works collectively to support artists as they grow projects alongside the community. We are rooted in social emotional approaches and restorative practices.

Health & Safety

livescan and TB is be required if sudents graduate from the school and continued teaching at AITP, as students it is not needed. Students will have on site support person 100% of the time when engageing with community. AITP will go over best pratices when working with community.
