Photography internAt — CSUSM Office of Communications
The photography intern will have the opportunity to hone their skills by photographing numerous university events, campus community members, and other campus-related happenings.
The student will improve their photography and editing skills, learn how to use the Photoshelter platform and have a better understanding of the day-to-day operations of a communications office.
The student will work with a variety of staff members who will provide guidance. In addition to me, they will work with our graphic designers, who will offer tips on how to best photograph events and people to complement planned marketing materials; our videographer, who also has experience in photography and can assist with technical equipment questions or concerns; and photography student assistants, who can share what they've learned working in our office.
