Radiant Futures InternAt — Radiant Futures (formerly WTLC)
Radiant Futures is looking for undergraduate students who have excellent interpersonal communication skills. They have the ability to set priorities, complete tasks, organize work and manage time effectively. Radiant Futures seeks students who demonstrate professional work etiquette and apply specialized skills. Students will have the opportunity to be placed in various settings including, but limited to, Radiant Futures emergency shelter, Helpline Program, the Community Education and Advocacy Program, Children’s Program, or support the organization with community and special events.

Training:
PowerPoint Orientation (1st Day)
1:1 Meetings to go over questions, comments, concerns, and progress (every other week)
Job Shadowing
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to gain valuable hands-on experience working with survivors of domestic violence and exploitation. Students can utilize appropriate crisis intervention skills and conduct phone and in-person assessments. Students will be able to learn about program development and how a non-profit run.
