The Administrative Aide Intern will support the workers' compensation team in managing claims, assisting with administrative tasks, and gaining hands-on experience in the workers' compensation process. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students pursuing degrees in business, healthcare administration, risk management, or related fields to develop practical skills in the workers' compensation industry.
Tasks
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Assist in the intake, documentation, and tracking of workers' compensation claims.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the claims management system.
- Follow up with injured employees, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
- Provide general office assistance, including filing, data entry, and organizing claims-related documentation.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations related to workers' compensation claims and trends.
