Opportunity Summary 

Wonder Wood Ranch uses equine therapy to provide hope and healing to trauma-impacted youth in Monterey County, helping them to find purpose and become positive contributors to their community.

Students will create, implement, and monitor a program to market the resources available at Wonder Wood Ranch, and market this asset to those who could support it through volunteers and also financially.

  • Computer Literacy
  • Driver's License
  • Bilingual Desired
Opportunity Training 

Students will be introduced to the mission, philosophy of the Ranch, and target audiences. 

Supervisor will provide space for the student to work, and help structure any marketing instruments.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Will possibly be working around large animals (horses).
