Position Description: Work closely with the GCC program coordinator in facilitating the technical, marketing, logistical, and clerical/administrative aspects of the various GCC events.Experience Gained: Program and event coordination Digital marketing skills and portfolio Work in a professional setting with faculty, staff, and students Strengthen written, oral, and digital communication skills
Gain valuable program coordinating experience such as managing the program’s email, data entry, research, assisting with event registrations, managing social media platforms, organizing special events, reviewing certificate events, and other tasks as needed.
Preferably the intern must have obtained or is concurrently working towards the Global Competency Certificate. For details on the certificate, see: https://www.csusm.edu/globalcommitment/certificate/certificate.html Desired Qualifications: Must be a current CSUSM undergraduate student with at least 60 units Ability to work independently Conscientious & self-motivated Strong written and oral communication skills Willingness to learn new skills and software platforms Knowledge of MS Office and social media
