Makery InternAt — CSUSM University Library Makerspace - The Makery
Internship may include: providing user support, equipment instruction, contributing ideas and feedback, assisting with design of promotional materials and social media content, event assistance, and maintaining an organized environment.
Fundamental knowledge of several equipment/tools in the makerspace such as vinyl cutter, 3D printer, sewing & embroidery machine, laser cutter; develop communication and interpersonal skills; improve design skills, technical skills and a variety of practical skills
Detailed equipment training, customer service training, debriefing on space policies and procedures
Will receive relevant safety training/policy & procedure information regarding tools/equipment Student may need to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
