PSYC306 Course Assistant: TrevittAt — CSUF - College of Humanities & Social Science

Student assistant will hold weekly office hour for students, host review sessions prior to exams, assist Professor with assessment of course assignments, and will help to develop new course materials.

Learning Outcomes  

1. Create and use a rubric for assessment purposes.
   2. Devise subject matter reviews.
   3. Organize and implement review sessions.

Training  

1. Instruct student on the purposes and uses of rubrics in assessment.
   2. Assist student in methods of summarizing material for review purposes.
   3. Work with student to develop engaging review session activities to promote student learning and information retention.

Tasks/Duties  

1. Asses class assignments using rubrics; work will be reviewed by instructor and discrepancies discussed.
   2. Instructor will review the study guides created by the student and offer constructive feedback.
   3. Instructor will review the review session activities created by the student and offer constructive feedback.
