Opportunity Summary 

As a Physical Therapy Aide at Comprehensive Therapy Services, you will manage patient interactions and assist them with their physical therapy exercises and modalities. - Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment - Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions - Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing

Some knowledge or skills that may be acquired by the end of the opportunity will be learning. Student will learn the ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team. Form strong organizational skills with attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for students who have an interest in or some sort of background with wellness/fitness/rehab/physical therapy.

Opportunity Training 

Student will be provided training from a lead care coordinator in order to preforms daily duties for the first two weeks. Hands on learning is provided along with plenty of training manuals in order to ease the process. Throughout this training they will also receive training from office manager or office administrator in order to receive training for administrative tasks. Additional training will be provided if it is deemed necessary.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Student will be required to lift moderately heavy equipment and be able to stand for long periods of time. Students will be required to demonstrate a list of exercises for patients.

If internship is available, employment application will be provided to the student. A zoom interview will then be scheduled. An additional in-person interview may be needed followed after the zoom meeting. Hiring process would be take roughly two-three weeks for all new applicants.
