Health Care Aid InternAt — Americana Adult Day Center

Americana Adult Day Center is a health care service company in Tustin that provides nursing care and therapy services to seniors, ranging from minor illness to critical health situations. We are committed to providing our members with an improved quality of life, promoting dignity and independence in the most stimulating and enjoyable manner possible. To us, all of our patients are equally important and deserving of the most careful attention – not only does our mission statement state it, but we also believe it to be true. Our major services are Adult daycare, Recreational activities, and Group Therapy.

Responsibilities include: filling, scanning, preparation for activities, organizing, conduct activities for seniors

Tasks:

Scanning, filling the documents to the proper file on Dropbox, helping program aid to prepared for the activities and conducting them, interact with participants during different activities, help to organize paperwork

Training:

The student will be trained about the daily program operation by PD, HIPPA, and the responsibilities the student will have. The student will shadow the program aids, social worker assistant to get familiar with the tasks assigned to her/him.
Weekly mentor meeting to review the student performance,
