Afterschool TeacherAt — STAR Education
Teachers are responsible for the supervision and enrichment of a group of students. They develop lesson plans, teach classes, implement the program, set up, clean up and perform other assignments specified by the director.
Tasks:
Designing and leading one lesson plan per week, incorporating feedback from mentors. Assisting in managing group activities and addressing student behavior effectively. Collaborating with teachers to develop strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs. Organizing and implementing creative projects, such as cognitive skills such as ASL or team building games to enhance student engagement. Maintaining a weekly journal to reflect on experiences and document student progress.
Training:
Provide hands on training in lesson planning and curriculum development through weekly workshops. Offer mentorship on classroom management techniques through observation and role-play scenarios. Assign reflective assessments to help evaluate the intern's understanding of student needs. Conduct regular feedback sessions to improve communication and interpersonal skills.
