Opportunity Summary 

Help Salinas Valley Recycles and Monterey County Resource Conservation District install and maintain the demonstration and pollinator gardens at the Education Center at Johnson Canyon Landfill. Student will also be offered opportunities to attend composting workshops and other community events.

Opportunity Training 

Saftey training will be provided to the student. Student will be trained on all tasks and be supervised while on site.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Student will not be working with or around known hazards. However, there are known hazards on the property (active landfill). The project location is not near the active landfill. Student will receive safety training.
