Mission (We facilitate Power into Purpose) Ocelotl empowers youth to bring their power into purpose and to enact solutions that dismantle systemic inequities. Ocelotl utilizes youth development action models and an approach focused on community-based engagement and culturally responsive pedagogy, with an orientation to social justice. Vision Ocelotl believes that youth and communities have the answers to the problems that impact them the most. Ocelotl recognizes the cultural integrity in the communities we serve and builds upon the ideas that exist to create sustainable opportunities that have lasting impacts.

Hours of operation 

We have a storefront space where students are able to be on site Thursday-Saturday 1-6pm. Students placed with us may be involved in developing and facilitaing trainings, leading groups, translating materials, working on advocacy for thier peers and other students and these hours are conveyed within a Scope of Work presented before an intern is accepted into programming. Typical hours for program support would occur between 8am-3pm M-F in what would typically be a normal school day.
