LCI Student AssistantAt — Latino Communications Institute

The Student Assistant of the Latino Communications Initiative serves as the liaison between Latino Communications Initiative program at Cal State Fullerton to: the students of Cal State Fullerton, the faculty of Cal State Fullerton, and the community. As an extension of the Director of the Latino Communications Initiative, the student assistant is in-charge of internal and external communications and oversees student activities and events facilitated by the program.  

Job Duties: 

• Drafting and sending e-mails to students, faculty members, and industry leaders

• Plan and facilitate conversations between the director and/or its students/industry leaders

• Coordinating the extra-curricular events hosted by the program and its partners

• Oversee, collaborate and assist the students with sponsored activities

• Develop graphics for the initiative and its programs

• Maintain the website information

• Implement promotion plans for the initiative

• Assist the Director with any tasks she/he needs to be completed

• Complete various administrative tasks
