Opportunity Summary 

RotaCare Monterey Clinic is a free medical clinic committed to providing healthcare to uninsured patients. In-person appointments are available on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, and telehealth services are offered every Wednesday.

The interpreter, fluent in Spanish, must be available to assist starting at 5pm and will support multiple patients and providers, including doctors, nurses, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. This role not only facilitates clear and effective communication but also contributes significantly to the overall quality of care, helping to ensure that every patient receives accurate information and compassionate guidance throughout their visit.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Available at 5pm
  • Health Check/Screening (e.g. temperature screening, COVID-19 test)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • TB Test
  • Vaccinations
Opportunity Training 

Interpreters joining our team will receive a comprehensive onboarding orientation designed to familiarize them with the clinic’s mission, operations, and site-specific procedures.

Interpreters will be provided support by the Clinic Operations Manager and leadership team.
