Opportunity Summary 

7 Different Locations in Orange County 

We are an outpatient sports orthopedic clinic along with performance training.  PT Tech Interns will observe our clinic, shadowing either physical therapy technician and/or physical therapist.  Interns will be able to see rehabilitative treatments from start to finish. We also have a performance division providing private training to group classes.  We offer numerous services, assisting our community through the full spectrum from post-surgery/injury to high level performance.  

Student Intern must have understanding of anatomy. Student Intern will be able to develop exercise/movement program for common injuries/surgeries at different stages of recovery (early, mid, late phase of rehab).

Training

-Establish weekly/month goals specific to Interns Objectives
-Exercise/Movement Modules - video and in person teaching
-Review Post Surgery Rehab Protocols
-Review Current Concepts for Physical Therapy Rehab

Learning Outcomes

-Program design based on exercises/movements for different injuries/surgeries
-Understand tissue healing timelines, common injuries, and post surgery protocols
-Develop interpersonal skills in order to interact with health care providers, colleagues, and patients
