Video Production/Social Media Internship - SPRINGAt — Klein Creative Media

Opportunity Summary 

Unpaid: Academic Credit Required

Klein Creative Media is looking for interns that are interested in gaining experience within the video production industry. We do everything from real estate and drone videos, to promos and explainer videos. Interns would have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience during shoots, as well as behind-the-scene experience with marketing, coordinating & editing.

Responsibilities are based on the intern's skills and experience. These may include creating content for social media, video-editing, operating a teleprompter, script supervising, creating newsletters and being a general, on-set assistant.

Recommended knowledge of programs (but not required): Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop/AfterEffects/Illustrator, Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn), Mail Chimp

Required Availability: 2-3 days and/or 5-15 hours a week

Start Date: March 2025 (specific date TBD)

Depending on an intern's particle interest, tasks could include:
- Designing newsletters on MailChimp
- Creating infographics on Adobe Suite or Canva for social media
- Managing social media accounts
- Editing together videos using existing or new footage
- Script-writing, aiding in production coordinating process
- Organizing equipment and inventory

Training:

General internship orientation, one-on-one feedback meetings, job shadowing, practical skills implementation of equipment, software/websites, overview of assigned tasks

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this internship, students will be able to gain knowledge about the entire video production process and the skills needed to learn how to create and market content for social media.
