Program Information The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) manages a diverse range of parks, natural areas, and recreational facilities. This includes the largest municipal golf system in the nation, which features 20 courses, along with 36 swimming pools and venues such as the Hollywood Bowl. We oversee 73,214 acres of parkland and provide various programs for youth, adults, seniors, and families.
