Are you passionate about early childhood development and eager to make a meaningful impact on families? The FINE Infant Program offers a hands-on internship where you'll work directly with infants and toddlers (0-3 years) and their caregivers in a home-based setting. Our mission is to provide a caring, nurturing, and predictable environment essential for healthy development, empowering parents with the confidence and competence to help their children reach their full potential. As an intern, you'll collaborate with experienced Infant Mental Health Practitioners and Licensed Therapists, engaging in evidence-based practices that integrate infant mental health principles and early childhood intervention strategies. This experience is ideal for students pursuing careers in child development, early intervention, social work, or related fields. You'll develop critical skills in observation, communication, and intervention strategies while contributing to our vision of changing the world one family at a time.

FINE Infant Program, safety is our priority. Interns will always be accompanied by a Program Manager during in-home sessions. They must follow strict hygiene protocols, including handwashing and staying home if unwell. Confidentiality is essential—no sharing of family information outside professional discussions. Interns should use gentle, developmentally appropriate interactions and respect children’s cues. In emergencies or concerns about child safety, interns must immediately notify their supervisor and follow reporting protocols. These measures ensure a safe, professional, and supportive experience for interns, children, and families.
