We author and publish books on America's history, based upon unpublished first-person accounts of significant events. There are over 100 prime-source manuscripts and thousands of historic photographs available for review by students.

Published 100 titles in 25 years, published Ebooks since 2001. We also have developed books for other historic publishers, museums, Missions, and historic organizations.We have been reviewed and interviewed by dozens of news services including CBS-2 News and the Australian Broadcast Company.

The internship involves researching unpublished historical documents and photography, including transcription of written manuscript, verifying source manuscript content, evaluation of manuscript for publishing, and/or restoration of historic photography.

**Student will be working remotely. All assignments and contact will be through email or phone. All meetings (if any) will be conducted in a public space.

During the internship, students will be expected to:
1. Transcribe and catalog original historical documents; translate to digital format.
2. Edit documentation to reflect a narrative for easy reading.
3. Review an abundance of historical documents dating as far back as the civil war.
4. Research language and cultural contextual nuances of a variety of historical narratives.
5. Identify relevant illustrations and photographs to accompany historical narratives.
6. Complete writing projects, when assigned.

Training:

Throughout the training, students will be expected to:
1. Receive individualized and in-depth supervisor feedback and mentorship.
2. Receive project-based instruction on transcription, translation, and documentation processes.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the internship, students will be able to:
1. Transcribe any historical document across a variety of archives.
2. Successfully perform professional duties as official historian for a variety of agencies and organizations.
