Organization Description

Community Arts & Empowerment is formed to make art for, by and with the public, to build community identity, pride and connections through public art projects, and foster creativity and empower communities through the arts.

Community Arts & Empowerment is a combination of creative place making, public art, and social practice. We seek out local artists to assist in the design of local community-based public artwork and facilitate community builds for the fabrication of permanent public art.

Health & Safety

Students will be required to sign a waiver, wear closed shoes, and eye protection. We are using hand tools to cut tiles to create public mosaics.
