Children's Center of the Stanford Community
Organization Description
The Children’s Center of the Stanford Community (CCSC) is a parent-staff cooperative dedicated to raising compassionate, confident, and socially aware children. Rooted in a strong partnership with Stanford University, CCSC values diversity, respect, and collaboration. Its play-based, child-centered approach encourages exploration, risk-taking, and emotional growth. Educators act as reflective researchers, deepening understanding through observation. Parents and teachers work together, creating a unique sense of community and belonging. CCSC nurtures empathy, social responsibility, and a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
