Public Relations InternAt — World of Dance
Work closely with seasoned Chief Revenue Officer and the World of Dance communications team, gaining valuable exposure to entertainment PR and brand and storytelling. Provide input in PR strategy sessions and media outreach planning. Assist in managing press communications and brand messaging across World of Dance’s global platforms.
Support the development and distribution of press releases, media alerts, and influencer coordination. Help maintain media lists, track coverage, and monitor press engagement related to our 138M+ global audience. Communicate with internal team members and collaborators to gather feedback and align messaging.
Create a weekly list of goals, completed tasks, in-progress assignments, and upcoming objectives to track learning progress. Participate in social media monitoring and support reactive PR opportunities.
Tasks:
Writing and Proofing Copy for Release
Expanding company reach through partnered Digital Media
Managing In Bound Communication
Use of systems such as PR news wire
Crafting internal narrative on business objectives
Training:
To help the student achieve the learning outcomes, the supervisor will provide structured objectives and feedback, conduct weekly check-ins and reporting, and offer insight into both current and past PR campaigns. The intern will also gain exposure to large-scale media strategies and brand partnerships they will support, in some cases lead and directly help to execute, in order to better understand the broader scope of entertainment PR and communications.

Learn how to craft messaging for brand, media, and public audiences
Gain experience coordinating press materials, tracking media coverage, and managing brand voice across multiple platforms
