Keystone Pediatric Behavioral Health is a behavioral health practice providing diagnostic evaluations and mental health services for children impacted by autism spectrum and other neuro-developmental conditions and their families. We have the need for exceptional behavior interventionists to provide direct clinical care to join our team. Behavior Interventionist will provide evidence-based services including the Early Start Denver Model, naturalistic teaching, pivotal response training, discrete trial instruction and other ABA strategies to improve the lives of
impacted children and their families. The behavioral interventionist will be
supervised by our highly skilled and caring BCBAs. We are seeking caring,
compassionate, energetic, and responsible individuals to join our team. We will provide all the training needed for new clinicians as well as ongoing training and supervision. We strongly encourage bilingual candidates to apply!
Behavior Interventionists:
-Conduct daily in-home and/or school/ community sessions
-Co-facilitate social skills groups
-Work as part of a team of therapists to deliver a personalized intervention
program to improve language, play, social skills, cognitive abilities, and reduce challenging behaviors
-Collect, record and maintain data on each child's progress
-Attending weekly supervision
-Receive ongoing training
Availability: Part-time; afternoon and weekend availability is highly preferred
Job Requirements:
6 months experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or children
High school diploma
Bachelor's degree in psychology/related field preferred
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Ability to clear FBI & DOJ background check

Job Type: Part-Time
Salary: Paid Internship Rate $21.00/hr
The student will complete the following duties:
-Conduct in-home and/or school/ community therapy sessions with children impacted by autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions using behavior modification strategies
- Collect data on patients progress toward goals during every session
-Document session outcomes in electronic health system
-Receive ongoing training and supervision from program supervisor
-Participate in weekly supervision meetings
-Participate in monthly team meetings discussing didactic topics, cases, and clinical topics
Training:
The student will receive training including general employment orientation, mandated reporter training, training in HIPAA and confidentiality, training in ethics per the Behavior Analyst Certification Board guidelines, training in the diagnostic characteristics of autism spectrum disorder, training in documentation and record keeping, and training in behavior analytic strategies and technologies. The student will also receive in-vivo supervision at least once per week and participate in group learning and supervision once per month
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to use behavior modification strategies to reduce inappropriate behaviors for children impacted by autism and/ or other neurodevelopmental conditions.
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to use behavior modification strategies to teach communication skills to children impacted by autism or other neurodevelopmental conditions.
By the end of the academic internships, the student will be able to model behavior modification strategies for parents of children impacted by autism or other neurodevelopmental conditions.
By the end of the academic internships, the student will be able to document the use of behavior modification strategies and patient’s response to intervention.
By the end of the academic internships, the student will be able to model behavior modification strategies for parents of children impacted by autism.
Note:
As an in home ABA company, our hours of operations ends at Monday-Friday 7:30PM if students were to be providing in home. Families are always required to provide secured parking for all of our therapists. Therapists are supervised sometimes in person or virtual by their case supervisor. We can also ask families to be on the lookout when therapist leave to ensure adequate safety measures.
Even though all employees go through our office, since we provide ABA services in patient's homes, sometimes our supervisors will not be able to be in person with students working. Students will be directed virtually and supervised via telehealth during their ABA sessions, we provide all equipment necessary for all our employees.
