Opportunity Summary 

Skinner, Fouch & Olson, LLP, located in Irvine, is a growing tax consulting and compliance firm serving entrepreneurial real estate companies in Southern California. The organization is seeking to fill an internship position.

Responsibilities
• Preparation of individual, partnership, corporate and trust income tax returns
• Calculation and preparation of extensions and estimated tax vouchers
• Preparation of annual projections for both individuals and businesses
• Perform online technical research regarding tax treatment of various issues
• Respond to communications and notices from various governmental authorities

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements
• Possess an understanding of general accounting and bookkeeping skills
• Demonstrate strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe & the Internet
• Knowledge of Prosystem Fx and Quickbooks Pro software is desirable
• Able to be flexible and able to follow time sensitive projects to completion
• Display strong analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, competent, confident, articulate and trainable describe an ideal candidate.
