Students will be trained in culturally responsive design practices and ethical storytelling. Mentorship sessions with design professionals will support their growth, and students will receive guidance on how to present and pitch their work effectively. All training is beginner-friendly and scaffolded to support learners at different levels.
This opportunity is primarily virtual, ensuring a safe and accessible learning environment for all students. If any in-person activities are planned—such as community events or site visits—students will be notified in advance and provided with clear safety protocols, including transportation guidance, emergency contacts, and adult supervision. All team members are trained in creating inclusive, respectful spaces, and students are encouraged to report any concerns immediately. We prioritize emotional and psychological safety by fostering a culture of respect, active listening, and care.
